Category Strike

Objective

A category is shown alongside the full alphabet - be the first to submit a valid word for an open letter to claim it.

How to play

1. A category and the alphabet are shown to everyone at once.
2. Tap any open letter and type a word from the category that starts with it.
3. The first valid claim locks that letter for everyone else - rare letters are worth more points.
4. You get one attempt per letter per round; a wrong or too-slow guess burns it, but you can still go for any other open letter.
5. The round ends once every letter is claimed, the timer runs out, or the host ends it early.

Scoring

Each letter you claim scores points based on how rare it is (common letters score less, rare ones like Q, X, Z score more). Claiming the most letters in a round earns a bonus.
