1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PartyF (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PartyF is a real-time party game platform. A host opens a room, players join with a short code, and everyone plays quick games together. The Service is provided on an "as-is" basis.

3. User-Generated Content

3.1 Your Submissions Are Public

When you play, you submit answers, responses, and moves. All submissions are immediately visible to every other player in your room. Your display name is also visible.

You are solely responsible for the content of your submissions.

3.2 License to PartyF

By submitting content to PartyF, you grant Miguel Mesa Chica a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

Store, process, and display your submissions within the game session.
Use anonymized, aggregated gameplay data for service improvement (e.g., game balancing, identifying technical issues).

You retain ownership of your submissions. We do not claim copyright over your submissions and we do not use them for purposes outside the game itself.

3.3 Content Removal and Moderation

PartyF does not pre-moderate submissions. However:

You must not submit: hateful, defamatory, obscene, or illegal content, or anything violating others' rights.
We may remove: submissions that violate these terms.
We may disable accounts or rooms where violations occur.

4. Conduct and Acceptable Use

You must not:

Submit content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction where PartyF is hosted (Spain).
Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse other players.
Submit intellectual property (images, text, music, code) belonging to others without permission.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other players' accounts/tokens.
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service (except as explicitly authorized).
Disrupt gameplay or engage in denial-of-service attacks.

Violation consequences: We may remove your submission, end your session, or block further access, at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

5. No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS-IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

We make no warranty, express or implied, regarding:

Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the Service.
Fitness for a particular purpose.
Absence of errors, bugs, or security vulnerabilities.
Uninterrupted availability.

You use the Service entirely at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MIGUEL MESA CHICA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity.
Any claim arising from your use of the Service or your reliance on information provided through it.

This applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where local law does not permit limitation of liability, this clause is limited to the extent permitted.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Miguel Mesa Chica from any claim, loss, or expense (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use of the Service.
Your violation of these Terms.
Your submission of content that violates third-party rights.

8. Availability and Uptime

PartyF is hosted on Google Cloud Run. We do not guarantee any specific uptime or availability. The Service may be interrupted for:

Maintenance (scheduled or emergency).
Cloud provider incidents.
Network issues.
High load.

We are not liable for unavailability or loss of progress within a session due to interruption.

9. Age Restriction

You must be at least 16 years old to use PartyF (the higher of the EU's GDPR Art. 8 age-of-consent range, chosen as the safer default across EU member states). By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement.

If you are under 18, your parent or guardian may contact us to request deletion of your data or to discuss any concerns: miguelmesachica@gmail.com.

10. Termination

We may terminate your access to PartyF at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. This includes:

Violations of these Terms.
Abusive behavior.
Suspected fraud or misuse.
At our sole discretion for business reasons.

11. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Dispute resolution: Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith direct contact (§15). Failing that, courts of Spain have jurisdiction. This does not override mandatory EU consumer-protection law: if you are an EU-resident consumer, you retain the right to bring a claim in the courts of your own country of residence regardless of this clause, and nothing here waives protections your local consumer law grants you. Legal counsel should confirm this framing before publication, particularly for users outside the EU.

12. Takedown and Reporting

If you believe content on PartyF infringes your rights or violates applicable law, please report it to: miguelmesachica@gmail.com

Include:

A detailed description of the alleged violation.
Identification of the specific content.
Your contact information.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the content violates law or your rights.

We will investigate and take action as appropriate, which may include removal of the content or termination of the responsible user's access.

Note: PartyF's 6-hour data TTL means content is automatically deleted. Reports submitted after a session expires may be moot.

13. Third-Party Links and Services

PartyF may link to third-party services (e.g., Google Cloud, documentation). We are not responsible for:

The availability, accuracy, or content of third-party sites.
Your use of third-party services.
Any loss or damage resulting from third-party services.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision is severed, and the remaining terms remain in effect.
