1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PartyF (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PartyF is a real-time party game platform. A host opens a room, players join with a short code, and everyone plays quick games together. The Service is provided on an "as-is" basis.

3. User-Generated Content

3.1 Your Submissions Are Public

When you play, you submit answers, responses, and moves. All submissions are immediately visible to every other player in your room. Your display name is also visible.

You are solely responsible for the content of your submissions.

Decks you save or share outside a room are covered by §3.4; a deck you attach to a room is also covered by this section.

3.2 License to PartyF

By submitting content to PartyF, you grant Miguel Mesa Chica a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

Store, process, and display your submissions within the game session.
Use anonymized, aggregated gameplay data for service improvement (e.g., game balancing, identifying technical issues).

You retain ownership of your submissions. We do not claim copyright over your submissions and we do not use them for purposes outside the game itself.

3.3 Content Removal and Moderation

PartyF does not pre-moderate submissions, except the automatic check on shared decks in §3.4. However:

You must not submit: hateful, defamatory, obscene, or illegal content, or anything violating others' rights.
We may remove: submissions that violate these terms.
We may disable accounts or rooms where violations occur.

3.4 Decks You Save and Share

PartyF lets signed-in players save custom decks (lists of words or lines to play with) to their account, and share a deck with others by a link or a short code. The rules below apply to decks you save or share outside a room. They are in addition to §3.2 and §3.3, and where they differ, this section applies to those decks. A deck you attach to a room is also a submission under §3.1.

You own what you write. The card texts in a deck you create remain yours. We do not claim copyright over them.

What you give PartyF. To run the feature, you grant Miguel Mesa Chica (operating PartyF) a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license, for as long as the deck is saved or shared, to:

store the deck and its cards;
copy it as needed to run the Service, for example to load it into a game room; and
show it to people who open its link or enter its code, and to the players of a room you attach it to.

You also allow anyone who opens your shared deck to play it, save a copy (to their account, or to their own device if they are not signed in), change their copy and share their copy on PartyF under this section, for use with PartyF. Deleting your deck or stopping sharing does not remove copies other people saved while it was shared.

The license to PartyF above ends when you delete the deck, and showing it to people with its link also ends when you stop sharing it. Copies already sent into a room that has not yet ended are the exception: they end with the room, at most 6 hours later. The permission for copies that other people saved while the deck was shared does not end: those copies stay in their accounts or on their devices, independent of your deck, and PartyF may keep storing and showing them under this section.

Who can see a shared deck. Only signed-in players can share a deck. Opening, playing and reporting a shared deck, and keeping a draft on your own device, never need an account. A shared deck is not listed anywhere or searchable, but anyone who gets its link or code can open it. Treat a shared deck as public. Anyone with the link can see the deck's name, language, kind, number of cards and its cards, and can play it or save a copy. Do not share a deck with content you would not want strangers to see. If you stop sharing and later share the same deck again, its earlier link works again.

What you must not put in a deck. In addition to §3.3, a deck, including its name and every card, must not contain:

hateful, threatening or harassing content, including slurs and content that demeans people because of their race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age;
content that sexualizes minors, in any form;
if the deck is shared, sexually explicit content;
personal data about another person, or instructions for finding, contacting or harming a person;
content that infringes someone else's rights, including copyrighted song lyrics, book passages or logos used verbatim in a way that reproduces the work.

Automatic checks, reports and hiding. When you publish a deck, and each time you change a published deck, we run an automatic check against a list of banned terms. A deck that fails the check cannot be published until the flagged name or cards are changed. We do not review every deck by hand before it is published. Copies that other people save are checked again when they publish them.

Anyone who opens a shared deck can report it with the "Report" button. When a deck receives reports from several separate reporters (counted once per internet connection) within a limited period, it is hidden automatically until we have reviewed it. That automatic step is not a decision that the content breaks these Terms: we review the deck and either restore it or keep it hidden.

We may also hide or remove a deck, in particular:

when we are asked to do so by a person whose rights are affected, or by a competent authority; or
when the deck breaks this section or §3.3.

If a deck is hidden, "My decks" shows that it is hidden, whether it was hidden automatically after reports or by us, and why. Hiding stops the link and code from working for everyone, and you cannot share that deck again unless we restore it; you can still play it in your own rooms, edit it or delete it. Your saved deck stays in your account until you delete it, we remove it under this section, or your account is deleted (including for inactivity, Privacy Notice §11). Hiding a deck does not hide copies that other people saved earlier.

If you disagree. If you think we got it wrong, write to admin@partyf.es with the deck's code (or its name, if it was never shared). A person will review the decision and we will reply to the address you wrote from. This does not limit your right to go to court (§11).

Your control. You can stop sharing a deck at any time with "Stop sharing", which makes its link and code stop working. You can delete a deck from "My decks". Deleting a deck, or deleting your account (including by the 24-month inactivity deletion described in the Privacy Notice (§11)), removes the deck and its links from our servers as described in the Privacy Notice (§12). Copies already in a room are removed when that room ends.

Reports. A report does not include your name or account, and we never tell the deck's author who reported it. The Privacy Notice (§12) says what a report stores. Reports help us review content; they are not a guarantee that any particular report will lead to removal. The in-app Report button cannot be replied to. For notices about a shared deck under §12 of these Terms, include its link or code, and write to us if you want an answer.

4. Conduct and Acceptable Use

You must not:

Submit content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction where PartyF is hosted (Spain).
Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse other players.
Submit intellectual property (images, text, music, code) belonging to others without permission.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other players' accounts/tokens.
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service (except as explicitly authorized).
Disrupt gameplay or engage in denial-of-service attacks.

Violation consequences: We may remove your submission, end your session, or block further access, at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

5. No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS-IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

We make no warranty, express or implied, regarding:

Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the Service.
Fitness for a particular purpose.
Absence of errors, bugs, or security vulnerabilities.
Uninterrupted availability.

You use the Service entirely at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MIGUEL MESA CHICA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity.
Any claim arising from your use of the Service or your reliance on information provided through it.

This applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where local law does not permit limitation of liability, this clause is limited to the extent permitted.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Miguel Mesa Chica from any claim, loss, or expense (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use of the Service.
Your violation of these Terms.
Your submission of content that violates third-party rights.

8. Availability and Uptime

PartyF is hosted on Google Cloud Run. We do not guarantee any specific uptime or availability. The Service may be interrupted for:

Maintenance (scheduled or emergency).
Cloud provider incidents.
Network issues.
High load.

We are not liable for unavailability or loss of progress within a session due to interruption.

9. Age Restriction

You must be at least 16 years old to use PartyF (the higher of the EU's GDPR Art. 8 age-of-consent range, chosen as the safer default across EU member states). By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement.

If you are under 18, your parent or guardian may contact us to request deletion of your data or to discuss any concerns: admin@partyf.es.

A host can switch a room to Adults only (18+), which unlocks content meant for adults; the host chooses this for the room and is responsible for making sure everyone they invite is at least 18.

10. Termination

We may terminate your access to PartyF at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. This includes:

Violations of these Terms.
Abusive behavior.
Suspected fraud or misuse.
At our sole discretion for business reasons.

11. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Dispute resolution: Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith direct contact (§15). Failing that, courts of Spain have jurisdiction. This does not override mandatory EU consumer-protection law: if you are an EU-resident consumer, you retain the right to bring a claim in the courts of your own country of residence regardless of this clause, and nothing here waives protections your local consumer law grants you.

12. Takedown and Reporting

If you believe content on PartyF infringes your rights or violates applicable law, please report it to: admin@partyf.es

Include:

An explanation of why you believe the content is illegal or infringes your rights.
Where the content is: for a shared deck, its link or code; otherwise the room code and what was posted, as precisely as you can.
Your name and email address (not required if you are reporting content that sexually abuses or exploits children).
A statement that you believe in good faith that the information in your notice is accurate and complete.

We will confirm receipt, investigate and take action as appropriate, which may include removal of the content or termination of the responsible user's access. We will tell you what we decided, and whether automated means were used, by replying to the address you wrote from. The in-app "Report" button on a shared deck is a quicker alternative that does not ask for your name, but we cannot reply to it (§3.4).

Note: PartyF's 6-hour data TTL means content is automatically deleted. Reports submitted after a session expires may be moot. This does not apply to saved and shared decks (§3.4), which stay until deleted.

13. Third-Party Links and Services

PartyF may link to third-party services (e.g., Google Cloud, documentation). We are not responsible for:

The availability, accuracy, or content of third-party sites.
Your use of third-party services.
Any loss or damage resulting from third-party services.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision is severed, and the remaining terms remain in effect.
